Living "Labeless"

The past few days have taught me the danger of identifying too closely with... well, anything. As soon as I label myself (or something else) as something I have immediately limited what it is capable of being. And who the heck am I to create walls for other entities? We all (self included!!) deserve to exist in a fluid type of freedom that is allowed to evolve, grow, change, plant, uproot, grow, and die. That is the beauty of LIVING instead of surviving.

So... Next time you say "I can't do this beacuase.. I'm a woman, I'm a man, I'm short, I'm tall, I'm a vegan, I'm a stud, I'm a lesbian, I'm straight..." Stop. Take a few deep breaths & really assess. Is this something you really shouldn't be doing? Or have you tied yourself so tightly to a label that you are standing in the way of your own freedom/living?

Life is made for experience. <3 Love you!

I am really feeling this. We are so much bigger and more complex than any label.

  • There are a MILLION ways to heal, and there is no formula to this life. So what's your favorite way to heal? I'll share mine: Baths and or showers! When all else fails, I jump in there and talk as if I had the whole heavens seated in the audiance. I'm honest. I scream, I cry. I speak affirmations over myself. I act out hypothetical arguments I know would serve NO purpose outside of this space. I let myself hurt. I let myself rejoice. I let myself be afraid. In this space I'm allowed to be WHATEVER I am feeling. That's one of my favorite ways to heal.
  • I want to CONNECT with you, and you can't connect with someone you don't know. So here's a little more about me, and feel free to ask me more and/or answer some of your favorite questions below! :) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Who is your hero? - Myself. :) If you could live anywhere, where would it be? - Space. What is your biggest fear? - Fear itself . What would you change about yourself if you could? - Honestly, nothing. What really makes you angry? - Lack of good service, lack of kindness, judgemental people, lack of compassion, hate. What motivates you to work hard? - Every single one of you, and the greatest expression of myself. What is your favorite thing about your career? Connecting with people and knowing that something I did or said inspired, empowered, or brightened their day. What is your biggest complaint about your job? Lol, honestly... that it's growing slower than my ego would like. (but my spirit knows it's growing in perfect time!) What is your proudest accomplishment? Loving myself, honestly. What is your favorite book to read? Parable of A Sower, Tuesday's With Morrie, and The Alchemist. What makes you laugh the most? My wife, everyday of my life!! What did you want to be when you were small? Lol, so many things. A lawyer, a doctor, an olympic gymnast. If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? Go EVERYWHERE naked. Butt naked. What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play? Gymnastics. What would you sing at Karaoke night? I wouldn't lol. What two radio stations do you listen to in the car the most? I try not to listen to the radio. Which would you rather do: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house? Ew, none lol! I hate cleaning. If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Cleaning definitely. But to be honest, I need a business intern not help around the house! If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Smoothies. Who is your favorite author? Octavia Butler (next to myself!) And if you remember nothing from this, remember this... I LOVE YOU! Honestly, wholly, and unconditionally. <3
